Chambourcin & Bay Fruit Paste
Crafted from hand-harvested grapes, rescued from the 2025 vintage
Born from a challenging harvest, O’Reilly’s Chambourcin & Bay Fruit Paste is a true vineyard-to-table delicacy. In 2025, our estate’s Chambourcin grape harvest faced unexpected setbacks due to weather damage and hungry birds. While the grapes didn’t meet our winemaking standards, we refused to let them go to waste.
Instead, our vineyard team hand-harvested what remained — a labour of love — and partnered with the incredible team at Ugly Duck Fine Foods, local champions in the fight against food waste. Together, we transformed the imperfect into something extraordinary.
Made in small batches using traditional methods, this richly flavoured fruit paste combines the bold, dark berry notes of Chambourcin grapes with a subtle infusion of aromatic bay leaf. It’s the perfect companion to your favourite cheese board, elevating sharp cheddar, creamy brie, or aged gouda with every bite.
