The Damage
Following the aftermath of the Christmas storms that left their mark on O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards and the surrounding area, our Homestead is not only repairing the damage but also embarking on an ambitious renovation project. This project aims to elevate the visitor experience to new heights. These renovations, spurred by the need to address storm damage, are also part of a broader initiative to enhance facilities and amenities for all our guests.
Renovations and New Offerings
Central to the renovation efforts is the comprehensive overhaul of key areas. These include the installation of a brand-new kitchen and upgraded bathrooms. Particularly noteworthy is the expansion of the ladies’ bathroom, which will see an increase in size from 4 cubicles to 8, ensuring greater comfort and convenience for visitors. Additionally, a new deck bar featuring beer on tap will be a highlight for those looking to enjoy refreshing beverages amidst our picturesque vineyard setting.
Continuation of Vineyard Life
The restoration of the roof, necessitated by storm damage, underscores the vineyard’s commitment to ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all our guests. Despite the ongoing renovations, visitors are still welcome to the vineyard, with operations temporarily relocated in our Wine Cellar. Picnic baskets, pizzas, and a delectable array of cakes and slices remain available for guests to enjoy as they soak in the serene ambience of our vineyard. Our Hot Air Balloon guests are still able to enjoy a Hot Breakfast each morning as well, fresh from the Barbecue.
Happy Memories to be created at the Vineyard
Not even the renovations can deter the spirit of celebration at the vineyard, as evidenced by the continuation of vineyard weddings. One of our first couples of the year, joyfully exchanged vows in early March amidst our charming vineyard backdrop. A special Creekside Bar was erected for the occasion, allowing the newlyweds and their guests to revel in the festivities. As night fell, the celebrations continued in the vineyard marquee, creating unforgettable memories for the happy couple and all their loved ones.
As the renovations progress, the vineyard eagerly anticipates unveiling its enhanced facilities and welcoming visitors to indulge in a truly memorable experience.
